Having successfully completed our trek with Trek Atlas (6 days from 10/06 until 16/06), and returned home from Morocco, we wanted to provide some feedback.
We completed a 6 day trek with Trek Atlas from 10/06 until 16/06/2011. Our original aim was to do the Toubkal circuit via Lac D'Ifni and climb Toubkal. Unfortunately there was still too much snow on some of the high passes at this time (and therefore they were impassable for mules), but Ahmed was able to agree with us an alternative route that was to be very interesting / challenging and still combined it with the Toubkal ascent.
The trek was very well organized and more than met our expectations. It was easy to book, our pick ups / drop offs were comfortable and on time, and our accommodation on the trail and at Aremd at the finish was very pleasant. Our guide Mohammed and Muleteer/Cook Hassan were both excellent and we would happily trek with them again. Well recommended. They were both very friendly, the food prepared by Hassan was really good (healthy, and tasty) and Mohammed was always ready to help, support and guide us when we needed it but still managed to give us space when we wanted it, without being asked.
The route was beautiful and we passed through some lovely scenery and villages seeing very few other trekkers along the way apart from inevitably at the Toubkal refuge and climb (even that was not so busy).
Overall we were very impressed by the services provided by Trek Atlas and with the individuals involved (Ahmed, Mohammed and Hassan).
We would definitely recommend them to others and would like to say thanks to all for a wonderful Atlas experience.
