Coloradan Tom, Virginian Ron, Kansan Steve, and Texan Jim were Morocco bound when we signed up for a seven-day trek in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco in October 2009. The objectives were to claim Africa as another continent under our hiking boots and to climb the 13,665-ft Jebel Toubkal, the tallest mountain in North Africa.
